10,000 words. Not great for a month, I suppose, but what is more important is TEN THOUSAND WORDS.
'course, I got a long way to go, but that's ok, because TEN THOUSAND WORDS.
I'm finding that it's best just to go straight to my computer after we put the kids down. And I sometimes (oftentimes) only get about 750 in at a sesh. That's ok, because that's SEVEN-HUNDRED AND FIFTY WORDS that I didn't have that whole day up to then!
I'll take what I can get.
In what I'm assuming is related news, I also got my antidepressant upped a smidge, and am eating less (was eating too much before). I certainly think these things help my overall well-being. But so does knowing I'm making progress on something that's made me feel like a failure for a really long time.
Next month is NaNoWriMo and as gorgeous as 50K words in a month would be, I'll settle for 20K. Anything more than that will be just amazing. But 20K would also just be amazing.
Onward!
